Synopsis

read a Structured Data file and output an AVS/Express Field

Description

read the following file types and output an AVS/Express Field. The data file must have a specified extension.

This refers to elevation mesh data corresponding to numerical maps of 1km, 250m and 50m.

Parameters

Current Data Type:
Display the data type.

Specify Filename to Read
Specify the filename to read in.

Browse
Selects the filename to read in using File Browser.

Portable(XDR)
If this is selected, then this module assumes that the binary portion of the field file is written in machine-independent XDR fromat and will translate the binary portion of the field file into the binary format.
