FLDArContour3D

Overview

Displays the external surface of the data after coloring it based on the data values in an arbitrary slice plane.

Description

Displays the external surface of the data after coloring it based on the data values in an arbitrary slice plane.

There are three ways to specify the position and the direction of the slice plane as below:

1.Specify the relative values of the rotation and the translation.

2.Specify three points on the slice plane by mouse clicks.

3.Specify the center points and normal vector of the slice plane.
The origin of the displayed axes is on the center of the slice plane. The slice plane is initially placed in the center of the data extent and vertical to the Z axis.

Input Ports

Parameters

Visible
Turn on and off the display of the color contour.

Reset
Resets all parameters to their original values.

Save MicroAVS Visualized Geometry
Saves the visualization results in an MVG file.

Help
Displays help.

Select Data
Selects the data component based on which color is added.

Visible Slice Plane
Displays the slice plane and the axes.

Reset Transformation.
Resets the position and the direction of the slice plane.

Select Method
Selects the way to specify the position and direction of the slice plane.

Translate/Rotate Transform the slice plane by the values of translation and rotation.
Pick Pick three points with mouse.
Normal Vector Specify the coordinates of the center and the direction of the slice plane.

min level
Sets the minimum value to be displayed as color surface contours.

max level
Sets the maximum value to be displayed as color surface contours.

set min-max
Sets the minimum data value in minimum level and the maximum data value in maximum level.

Colormap Editor
Displays a panel to adjust the colormap.

Color Legend
Displays the color legend.

Note

If you changed the data component, the color may not be displayed correctly. This is because the initial values of "min level" and the max level" are yet to be defined. To display the color correctly, first, click on the "set min-max" button or set the values of the "min level" and "max level" sliders. second, click "auto fit" button in the Colormap Editor.
