Displays streamlines.

Description

Displays streamlines based on 2D or 3D vector data.

AVS/Express Field(3D Structured Data)

Output Ports

out_obj
AVS/Express DataObject

Parameters

Visible
Turns on and off the display of the streamlines.

Reset
Resets all parameters to their original values.

Help
Displays help.

Select Data
Selects the data to be assigned to each of the X, Y (Z) directions. Components are assigned to X, Y (Z) in order from the top. Further, there must b e either 2 or 3 components.

display plane
Displays a slice plane to show the starting point for streamline calculation.

plane - displays a semi-transparent starting slice plane.

mesh - displays a semi-transparent starting slice plane with mesh lines.

Rot
Displays parameters for rotation.

Trans
Displays parameters for translation.

rot_x - rotates the starting slice plane about the X axis.

rot_y - rotates the starting slice plane about the Y axis.

rot_z - rotates the starting slice plane about the Z axis.

trans_x - translates the starting plane along the X axis.

trans_y - translates the starting plane along the Y axis.

trans_z - translates the starting plane along the Z axis.

plane scale X
Sets the scale value for the slice plane in the X direction.

plane scale Y
Sets the scale value for the slice plane in the Y direction.

dim X
Sets the number of streamlines in the X direction of the starting slice plane.

dim Y
Sets the number of streamlines in the X direction of the starting slice plane.

set plane center
The slice plane is located at the center of the Z axis and oriented vertically.

Direction
Selects the direction for the calculation of streamlines.

backward - Displays the streamlines oriented backward from the starting point.

forward - Displays the streamlines oriented towards the front from the starting point.

color
Adds color to the streamlines based on the vector size.

N-segments
Defines the number of time steps within a grid.

order
Defines the order of integration.

Max-segments
Defines the total number of time steps.
