Light Editor

Reset - restores all the parameters to their original values.

Help - displays help for Light Editor.

Ambient Light - Ambient light is light with no particular direction and all parts of all objects appear equally bright. This ambient light can be switched on or off.

On - switches on the ambient light.

Off - switches off the ambient light.

Selector - Selects the target light for setting attributes. Maximum number of lights that can be set are 4. This menu can be used to select one of these lights for which attributes are to be set.

State - turns on/off the currently selected light.

On- switches on the currently selected light.

Off- switches off the currently selected light.

Type - selects the type of the currently selected light.

Directional Light - makes the currently selected light unidirectional. Unidirectional light denotes a light where all the rays are parallel and point in the same direction.

Bi-Directionla Light - light makes the currently selected light bi-directional. This means that the light is made up of sets of parallel rays where each set contains a ray pointing in a given direction and another ray pointing in exactly the opposite direction. If the object starts to appear dark, then it can be made brighter by making the light bi-directional.

Color - selects the method for setting the color of the currently selected light.

Slider - The red, green and blue components are specified using sliders respectively.

Palette - The color to be used can be specified by clicking the button corresponding to that color in a palette of 64 colors.

Light Transform Editor - If this turned on, a menu for setting the direction of light appears on the screen.

Close - closes the menu panel.
